premier / after effects
recently acquired these packages /software and I need to become guru status in less than 2 months who uses them and what books / journals /websites do they recommend thanks in advance (or maybe not) |

Used After Effects a lot in combination with Media 100 & Director when I was at uni, never really any books though more trial and error. All these keyframe/timeline systems work very similatly though, so your knowledge of Flash/Director will come in handy in an indirect way... it won't all seem completely alien. No help at all - again. |

no, it is help. it is all the same - timelines and shit. as long as you can figure out where your video track is and where your audio track is and how to import and export in the right formats then you're ok. then its just transitions and the like. right click everything. drag stuff around. its made by adobe, just pretend its photoshop. |
