No, not the chocolate bar, but close....

Just wanted to post the soft launch of a site ive just done for a bar in Leeds (don't suppose anyone has been?) called Trio (see, it all starts to make sense eventually )

Anyway, link is www.arcinspirations .com/trio

hope you like the design, and post any errors/comments etc you may have if you've got a spare few mins to cast an eye over it before 'official' launch on thurs.

Cheers!

Nice!I really love everything above the content columns, I like the content area. My one complaint - the footer - all the text is really hard to read except the links, which stand out more than any other text on the screen.

Could do with a section about their playlist - the music is the reason alot of people go there

(was in trio over the weekend - best bar up that way )

Yeah, i`m looking to roll out some kind of live music feed in a phase 2 of the site. Know what u mean though. Sunday nights in trio are the best in Leeds You there much then? I've probably seen you in there at some point. Got to do the site for zed next, and box and hub....

yeah, it's the typeface they use across the brand. Their designers sold them some big 'branding' thing, and then i found the font on www.dafont.com haha. I guess I've got used to it now. Re: the brown, i agree, but if you ever go there, the whole feel is quite loungey and brown. I can make it pink if you'd like tho?

That's the tip of the iceberg... the guy that set those up wants world domination - student loans have a lot to be thankful for

haha yeah, you know they own the lounge cinema too? Apparently it's been suggested it's turned into a club no it's been closed down, how great would that be!

Thanks Dixon. If you actaully go to the bar, it's not 'dirty' but the feel is that of an old fashioned lounge bar, interspersed with some modern touches, but fundamentally it works as a chillout lounge bar, despite getting so rammed you can't move on a weekend so the slightly 'weathered' look is kind of appropriate. The photos in the gallery aren`t too great as depicting it either, as they're all taken when the bar is empty, it's quite a different atmosphere when it's heaving....obviously
