something weird going on with the menu. hover to the right of it and you'll see what I mean. it seems to be repeating.

looks nice. sometimes the images on the left don't quite line up with the corresponding text which would look better.

and "on-state" for the navigation would help too.

I quitre like it, and think the red works well, and isn`t too overpowering. I would have liked to see the design blend into the wood background a bit though, it feels very 'stuck on top' at the moment. Mayeb just a border to frame it might help, as it's prob too late to start doing any heavy graphical changes.

I agree with smallbeer.

As I browsed around, I had a hard time telling exactly where I was.

Otherwise, I think it's good. Like the red - fits with the subject matter. Makes me wish I were sitting at the bar with a cold Boulevard Wheat or a Bass.

good stuff. Liked everything but the 'return to news' link in the news articles section (arrived on the news story from the homepage so was returned to the wrong place when I clicked the link - maybe you could have a sub menu and add list of recent news stories to it?

nice. I'd love a home button though, as it took me a while to see I could click the logo...

For the pub locator section - use a drop down - don't let your users enter information - most are entirley too stupid to enter a name or the place they live...
