Quite like that.

Spelling mistake: "switch to producing web layouts width CSS and XHTML."

Very nice. Like the brownish-gold bar that goes all the way across horizontally and cuts in front of the wrapper column. That's quite unique. You see a lot of horizontally repeating body images, but seldom to they layer like that.

Are you using one of the standard pieces of blogging software that so many standards designer sites use - i.e. TextPattern, MovableType, Wordpress? Looks like one of "those sites".

Sleepingfish: Cheers for pointing that out

I see. Was simply wondering since it looks like "one of those sites". Not that that's a bad thing.

I know what you mean. It is a pretty standard layout, but I find its one that works well

Indeed. You know as well as I that having standards is a good thing.

looks nice. I like the floral looking sort of thing behind the area with your name.

One thing I found (not really a design issue), in your portfolio section I found myself drawn to click on the screenshots of each project but this didn't do anything. I think it would be good to make these have the same link as the project title.

yeh this is great, I think it'd look miles better though without the big brown division and dropshadow in the cream area and the nav.
