nice, I'm not sure if I like the I and the D joined in together. Is there a reason you made the bottom "lan parties on the high sea" the same color as "lan"...kinda suggest some sort of specific unity between the two rather than the tagline being connected to the whole thing..? Or maybe if the ship was the yellow too, or making the tagline the same blue as the ship? I dunno, just some ideas, but as it stands now it feels to me like the tagline and the "lan" kinda separate themselves out on their own cuz their the same color, suggests some sort of specific unity... audentes fortuna iuvat

The 'I' and the 'D' merged together doesn't work. And it is not 'clever' in any way All you guys talking about colours.... don't forget that a good logo should work in black & white too! How would the yellow look if you try to photocopy/fax it? My advice would be very simple: when designing a logo - always start with a monochrome version firts! Worry about the colours later - that's a 'reward' once you have all the shapes in place. Also: the tagline being yellow - will not be readable if you scale down the logo. I think it should be a dark colour. But the colour scheme is nice as such... ...

Yes, but I think you are separating out the "lan" part of the name too much by making it the same colour as the tagline. It's all about eyeflow, people see things in blocks of colour, by making the two of them the same you're automatically causing the user to totally skip over the "seasde" portion of the logo because the bright color of the logo automatically grabs their eye. It doesn't help that the swoosh at the top of the logo leads the users eye over to the "lan" part of the logotype either. Because of these two reasons the user's eye skips right over "seasde". I think the tagline would be much more appropriate in the dark blue of the boat rather than the yellow. It would allow a joint unity between the ship and the tagline, rather than specifically "lan" and the tagline, plus, as someone mentioned, the yellow would get hard on the eyes scaled down audentes fortuna iuvat
