No one wants to review it? Is it really that bad?

Okay, I'll have a bash...

I don't think it works too well at the minute, and here are my reasons:

1.) I had to study each section closely, as I kept seeing the same news items at the top of each page. In my opinion, you should give people the content from each of the sections first: what's the advantage to the user to see the news throughout the entire site given that it's the same on each page? Put your main content at the top, and perhaps the news to the right. Needs more thought here I think...

2.) Your logo is poor. And you've anti-aliased a pixel font that was never meant to be anti-aliased. The font was also designed to be seen at small sizes (ie 7pt) and it doesn't size well in this instance (spacing between the characters is FAR too big too).

3.) The images on the Services & Portfolio pages need more "oomph" as they seem very bland when compared with the images on the other pages. A bit of messing around with Brightness & Contrast in Photoshop will do the trick.

4.) The feathered image on the About Us page doesn't match those on the rest of the site and this detracts from the overall impression given.

5.) Why the W3C logos? A quick look at the code shows you're using tables to lay out the content (not criticising for this: I still have to get my head around CSS layouts) and if I was going to use those logos, I'd only do it if my site was full XHTML/CSS and not a "hybrid". Actually, I'd probably not use those images at all...

Oh, and a wee bug: the site aligns to the left in Netscape 6 on PC.

Hope this doesn't across as me ripping the site to shreads... just giving my honest opinions. Feel free to do with them what you like!

Phil
