My websites

Need some feedback.....I really want to redesign both of them...but lack the inspiration of indepth knowledge.

http://www.planesnsuch.com - This is my personal site, I actually like this one but I am thinking about changing the look to include my other hobby.........woodworking.

http://www.ipmskalamazoo.org - I am webmaster and president of this club. I know some people don't like frames, but at the time it was the easiest way for me to do it.

I am seeing that there is a lot more for me to learn.......so what things should I start looking at to bump my skills and websites up a notch?

THANKS

Jim Fox

I apologize for being rude but it wasn't my intention. This f*cking internet doesn't allow you to express the real mood of you comment. I should have put a smiley or something to indicate that it was not meant to be an insult.

Anyway, I stand for my point : Java is really, really bad. Dhtml (which is HTML + JavaScript which is different from Java) will suffice.

<-------- hope these are enough

Igor, I've never really did anything fancy website wise......it's always be boring.....although I think it looks nice.....it just needs more "BAM".

At the time of making the site....I just went around and searched for a menu system........and that's what I came up with. Worked for me........and the group is represented......hell they don't know any different. It would be like talkin to my 92 yr old grandma about computer when I talk to this group.

Now I wanna start doing something more exciting. Got a lot to learn.....and there in lies the problem. I hated school, I hate reading long articles, etc. My learning has all come from trial and error. So I started poking around on XHTML stuff and CSS last night. We'll see what happens.

THANKS AGAIN (no harm no foul)
