Im liking it so far. A lot of white space on my screen, maybe play with a background image/colour when you start building?

Looks good, I also agree that there is to much white space around the site, maybe do a pop window, or put it in a border box?

i'd be worried about expandability on the menu, but then i've not seen the extent of the content.

maybe liven up the top (home, about etc) menu a little.

i really don't like the idea of the banner image changing in height - this is where you've got issues with the menu content.

maybe seperate it from the banner into a left side column and move the main content over to the right leaving white space underneath - or room for promos - everyone want room for promos - or gooooooooooogle ads.

spelling/typing is a bit wayward in places - hope the client hasn't seen it as it is

I liked it, not too keen on the icons, could do with a little more work. Also not keen on the faded banner on the second page. But maybe that's just me.

Perhaps try out a weightier footer, as it seems a little floaty at the moment

thanks for your comments,,, its only an idea at the moment. They dont know what they want so its just something to provoke a reaction out of them. Theres bits i like and bits I dont like but by the sounds of it the general idea is good so I think I will develop this. although that wont be till next year as I am on holiday. Started on the 16th go back on the 4th... plus I have only been work a 4 day week sence Oct.
