Input for Relatively New Designer

I started designing and developing 2 years ago. I had a business in my dorm room which had threatened my stay on campus, so I started basic html with Dreamweaver. It took me a couple months to figure out column and rowspans. Now I am a professional developer among other things. I was hoping you could enlighten me as to where I stand, or if I should maybe consider another field.

B. Weaver Apiaries - My latest site. It is osCommerce, but extremely modified. Ordering, tracking, pricing, shipping and more have been reengineered by me for America's most prominent bee-keeping family.
Old Army Supply Co. - The company that forced me into this. Hasn't been touched in a while. Slow load times near everywhere except for with its target audience - Texas Aggies who use campus T1 ethernet. Whoop!
Dion McInnis Photography (Dad) - My dad is none too interested in and too busy for web design, so I made him this gallery system for Bonfire photos. It is built with people like him in mind where all he has to do to add galleries is upload directories full of images into the galleries folder. A text file is included in each directory containing copyright and date information to be displayed for each gallery. Pretty novel I think.
DION Design - A site for my design and business consulting. Also a play site for music and business buffs. Some very cool features have been disabled while I built Bonfire 2004.

Sorry for the long post. I'd certainly appreciate your input. Thanks.

I think you're standing pretty well, lots of good design ideas, maybe look around the real pro's and their sites for ideas on how to push it up a gear. Your programming/developings eems good (i know owt about it) and the design bit is pretty good, but could be improved.

Well done.

I can buy 250+ bees for $17, now that sounds like a bargain!

Sites aint half bad, maybe slightly unwilling to work effectively with screen format, i.e. % widths, but then again Im not a coder.

As Pat said, I reckon you could do with having a look a what the Pros are doing as well as the just any good web design, its easier to find yourself in loops of great design or just use a nifty directory like Styleboost.
