As some of you might have experience of; your own company homepage is the hardest thing to make. Well after much deliberation, numerous copy and structure changes, months of being put on the shelf and taken off again to be put back on the shelf, here it is. http://www.babelmedia.com I can't begin to explain how much better it is than the old website. I'd almost given up caring about this to be honest but it's such a relief to get it online and out of the way. There are some down sides to the site... too many things have been changed by "top brass" (IE: the directors of the company) to mention (including deciding to replace all the lovelly photos with images of gaming characters throughout the site.), however with all those things taken into consideration, I'd love to hear what your impressions of the site are and how you think it reflects the company from either client or public views. |

in safari on the mac, the "about us" and "credits" drop to the bottom of the page rather than sit to the right. i presume this is because the divs are slightly too wide for one reason or another. ::: TC Magazine :::

hiya. I've not yet had a chance to test on safari, or on a mac. I would like one on my desk but it got taken away for use in another department. I do know that safari decides to use it's own form elements and won't allow them to be styled as the designer wishes, this might be widening the newsletter input boxes pushing the divs past their correct seating and dropping them under this box. I'll have to look into this... time to install safari on my girlfriends powerbook Aside from technical issues, I'm interested in the impression you get from the design about the company. |
