Opinions wanted on altered design

I've previously asked for reviews of feedsfarm.com in the thread: Feeds search review

I've modified it as I saw fit whilst keeping the comments in mind.

Please review: http://www.feedsfarm.com/

Points i've tried to address:

1) Yeah, I'm using the standard SERP style on results pages, like Google, Yahoo! etc.

2) You either like or dislike the logo, my brains numb from tryna come up with alternatives.

3) Yeah you can scroll the google ads in mozilla, this is because its contained within an iframe, i have no power over this particular code.

4) I've changed the look front page, used some light pastel colors to seperate the topics. Personally i think it looks gay, what do you think?

I've now added a few features:

Polls: http://www.feedsfarm.com/?q=bush

And spell checker: http://www.feedsfarm.com/?q=xhtml+browser (yeah its EVEN MORE Google-esque, but IMO a required feature of any decent search engine.)

Other things i'd like feedback on are, results are they shite? Speed of site.

Check out the source code of the results pages (VIEW SOURCE), Google can only dream of similar standards support.

Thanks in advance!

The site loads quickly, good design overall. The banners are good for breaking up the site but they are too pale, too pastel. I'd also add mouseover effects for links, I personally just hate when there aren't any.

Also a number of articles' View Snippet links show little or nothing more than the snippet on the main page. I'd suggest that if the main page's default snippet length is X, and the link's RSS 'description' is less than 1.5*X, then the entire snippet should be shown on the main page... otherwise just X of it should be shown. Or some such thing. That will avoid having "View Snippet" just show 3 more words than the main page does.

Is there any chance theres a user with Mac OS and Linux willing to take a look? Feedback from Mac/Linux users would be nice, screenshots of the sites from these systems would be great!
