My graphic and web design site
Hi, Here's a site that I made that will have my work on it and tell people what I do, etc. Some of the sections are blank for now until I come up with some content/portfolio pieces for them. Let me know what you think please. http://www.mattmdesign.com Thanks, Matt |

imo Lime green on a black bg doesnt mix well (atleast not with this design) the way the pages load is tedious (spelling) after seeing it once I had enough and so u should have a lil skip animation link somewhere so the viewer doesnt have to wait for the whole thing to load to acces what they need. Opps just realized the animation is only on the first page even though it serves no purpose whatsover considering theres already the navigation at the top. All in all I think the site looks outdated imo |

First of all the green color on the dark background gives me a headache. Second, the navigation is redundant on the home page. Third, the form on the contact page should be better formatted. Fourth, the links section is a mess, I don't know what to look at first - maybe left adjust it and add some bullets or something. Fifth, on the portfolio page, if you have room for another projects but the project isn't completed then don't put an empty box saying coming soon (I am pretty sure it is coming soon) just leave that area blank. Sixth, no need to show the ‘www.mattmdesign.com’ in the top right corner - once i am on your site I know where I am. Seventh, don't play the flash intro thingy every time I go to a home page - play it once and that's it... Make your logo smaller - it is over powering - add some nice stock photos to the header of the site instead of the huge green Arial font 'mat margin graphic & web design' there happy? |

a well, it reminds me of a 'matrixy' type site, if its what you really really really wanted then, well done, its green n black! You could make it into something good, reconsider the design, and dont use flash. It might look ''COOL'' but if you want to make it big in this business its not gonna put any pluses next to your name. specially for whole flash sites....or intros or like u have 'homepage' anyhoo. |

BlueSteel said it. It *is* sorta Matrix-y, but that movie came out in 1999; 5 years ago. If you want your web design to look bleeding edge, do what current designers are doing and then some. Matrix-type sites just aren't trustworthy in the eyes of a visitor. Especially when your site is hard to read because of a gradient green-black background. To the drawing board! Now adding "eh?" to the end of my sentences.
