Corner Stone 2 logo
My boss asked me to make a logo for him. He wants the word Corner to be metallic and stone to look like a real stone. I made these for him, although he didnt like the first ones. I just want to ask some comments and suggestions because I really cant think of any way to make this logo. Thanks^^ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ^_^ |

that is the problem ^^;; Actually i was hired as a Web Designer but I am doing Web Development stuffs, PHP/MySQL, atm (so I cant say no). My boss isnt impressed with me from the start as he told me but he accepted me because I was recommended by the first guy who interviewed me (usually they if they dont want you, they wouldnt recommend an interview for the boss). Darn, I just wish I had better graphic design skills or better, quick in generating ideas. <_< |

Instead of just sticking aload of filters on yor text, why not pick up a pen and start developing an idea. Brainstorm first, its the fudermental starting point to any design piece. On that note i read an interesting article this week about some design companys that keep water pistols in their 'brain storm room' and the erson who gives negative input gets a squirtin' as fun is supposed to promote good creative thinking. Anyway, surround yourself with stuff that could help promote a lil' spark that gives you a decent idea. Cutouts from stuff you've seen and liked, look at different type, weight, styles. To create something that is worth using it isnt a 10 minute process or 'BP' wouldnt of paid some guy 4.5 million to come up with their new logo (if thats the right amount) |
