Logo Crit

Hey, free logo I'm doing for a friend's green company. They specialize in recycled furniture of all sorts. Let me know what you think. Revisions? Changes needed? Thanks a lot.

Well, looks free.

Also looks like you're trying to paint yourself a leaf in photoshop rather than creating this in a vector program.

It looks very generic and woo it has a leaf slapped in there in a not terribly creative fashion. But then again, it is free.

What I'm not seeing is any link to what they do beyond the obvious eco friendly leaf. Doesn't say recycled furniture to me.

1. The leaf looks like smoke from a factory chimney (the 'i') and not leaflike enough.

2. Leaves are a tired, done-to-death cliche. Drop it like it's autumn.

3. There doesn't seem to be any concept or thought process behind this other than 'recycle -> green -> leaf'.

Boring.

Why not have a piece of furniture made from something else as a marque, with some smart type?

We need a recording of someone with a calm, gentle voice saying that exact phrase. Then we can just link all the newbies.

Who's being a smart ass? That recording would actually be pretty useful.

'Sorry, it's time to start again.'

'Seriously, scrap what you have and start again!'

'OMFG, how are you not getting this!? START AGAIN!'

Or Michael Jackson's. Either or. By the way, maybe i'll do a typographic picture of one of their pieces of furniture -- good idea. Back to the drawing board to "
'OMFG, how are you not getting this!? START AGAIN!'"

I think it looks good, but I agree with the others, the leaf through in randomly to mean "Green" is very over played and unoriginal. But because it is free, I say hell it works!
