You did a nice job on the site and the layout, but the whole thing lacks professionalism. You may not be striving to achieve professionalism depending on your clientele.

Yes, in fact some my clients often tell me that professionalism is not required.

The site is alright...solid, in a very blog like way, but you need to put in some portfolio work. Doesn't even have to be client work, just stuff you'd like to show off...if indeed that is the purpose of this site & it looks like it is.

Portfolios don't have to be professional looking, its all about self expression as long as your portoflio items them selves show your professional design side then thats fine. That way you get best of both worlds.

Okay, so it's only me who's irritated by the ridiculously tall pages then...

Needs some content too...

Well, that falls under what I believe is professional; however, I'll get off that word now...

The tall knife on every page is annoying, but you can get rid of that by putting the knife in horizontally and having it stab one of those people against the side of the screen. Then maybe you could engrave your name on the blade of the knife, whatever you fancy.

i like the space at the top too. makes it not look like a blog, even though it is. and anyone who can't find the info you probably didn't want reading it anyway.
