this is very encouraging. I'm going to think about doing this A1. I did want to do prints big, but the course only gave us small screens. now that the course is nearly finished I will be able to use the studio for my own stuff...just need to prove to them that I know what I'm doing. rampagegfx - just look for local studios that offer 1 day/weekend courses I guess. It's a very simple process, you just need to know the basics then you're off. It's much easier than litho or etching. all you need to do is: coat screen with photo emulsion take your black image/s and place on screen expose to light wash out. (areas which were black are washed away) leaving the 'stencil' print! |
