Very pixelated. I like the idea but not sure if it's working yet, the gradient may look better at a -90 degree angle so the bottom of the words are darker than the top, and also applied to the whole thing, not individual lettering. The tail part should have the same height as the r maybe and the head needs some work! Last edited by Kemp : 16-09-2008 at 11:42. |

make it look more like dinosaur! do you have any height restrictions? If not maybe put the I on top of the N to make long neck, make N bit taller but not same height as the O, make the S same size as the N, make the R smaller, then reduce each letter in height to give a taper effect. I would also go with a single gradient over the whole thing, but there again im a code monkey so what do i know about design lol Wot Speeling Mishtake?

It looks like a dinosaur, just not a very good one yet! I can see it working though. You may want to consider your kerning, even though the letters are jumbled I think it should still have the same principles as any other piece |

You can still change the gradient direction though surely? make it go from dark at bottom to light at top? |

Maybe reverse the direction of the dinosaur shape so that its left - to -right that way you can molest the R into the head, and flip the D back normally... me thinks you need to add some feet though, and some kind of actual tail |

It's okay. I know what you mean. I want to draw an outline of one in Illustrator and stretch letters into the shape. I'll give that a go. Hmm...rather than trying it this way. |
