august poster competition voting

Vote for who should win.

I think the prize is a Helvetica DVD, and I'll chip in that same sort of thing I did last month.

I'm very interested in MacShak's entry. (and gave my vote accordingly)

Although his/her poster isn't 100% refined, it would work as a fantastic short-run marketing campaign for Nike. Taking old photos of actors and adding Nike products, subtly or not.

Whats the theme of this competition anyway? August?

MacShak's is one of the stand out ones here. Could have put a swoosh on his sideburn

bjzaba's for me...

However I was selfish and voted for myself so I didn't get no votes on my first entry.

I'm an arse like that.

I voted for yours without reading the thread - maybe not the best concept but a nice poster, nice execution.

Voted for Paddy, because I love his typography/colours. The subtle texture behind the shoe worked quite nicely as well.

Thanks guys for the votes so far .

Went for Emil in the end - tough call though - lots of good entries.

Paddy's one is a bit top heavy, might have worked better with the shoe on top of the text

Cheers.

I was really short on time the day I did it, didn't give it a lot of thought. And when I say that, I mean I went "I'm holding a PANTONE book - I'll do that!"

Laziness to the extreme.

It didn't have to be for Nike. I edited the swoosh out of my shoe and went a different path!

I didn't think my colours would fit a Nike shoe.

I voted for djeglin for the simple yet effective humorous poster.

A lot of very good entries this time around, everyone's effort was something quite nice.
