1.618 Clothing - WeArePhi

WE ARE PHI

Introducing you to my clothing label 1.618 (or WeArePhi). All the designs are based on the golden ratio. The site is working, adding more content as I write this post, but so far we've sold extremely well through one forum and are looking to expand. Sold about 36 tshirts over the last four days.

You can pay by credit card, paypal or bank transfer (setting that up now).

Suggestions and feedback would be great. Any comments as the site builds would be appreciated. Of course if you'd like to place an order PM me on here.

Each tshirt is printed on American Apparel FJ 2001 for a fine fit and with plastisol inks for a high-quality finish. Each tee comes in a gift box, individually numbered limited edition. I've had nothing but positive comments about the quality of the tshirt and design. We're also on Facebook and have a Twitter page.

Best,

Alex

I can't post the url, so search wearephi on google. It's wearephi dot com.

There's also a slideshow with pics on there.

Why can I only see one t-shirt on your site?

Also, I see you have sold out of the XL size.
They went down well in the states, then

You'd be surprised man. The margin is healthy.

I've sold 36 in the last three days so I'm almost out of stock of everything. Reprints this week.

I can't see a (healthy) profit margin, I'm out.

Duncan Bannatyne.
Dragons' Den

Nice design though.

lol. What's a healthy profit margin? 10%? 25%? Over 50%? I'm talking gross profit don't forget.

I reckon I could offer an investor the chance to double the money they invest pretty easily. So yeah, the margin is good.

Let's just say if I carry on selling at this rate I don't need a job anymore. I can live just on the profit made by selling these tshirts. I'm not going to disclose exact amounts but I think that's pretty sweet!

Staydecent - I'll also consider printing the design onto other brands too - but it's American Apparel at the moment. What don't you like about it? I personally tried a bunch of others (Gildan, Contintental) and found the AA to be the best compromise between cotton, quality and fit.

Maybe I am a cheapskate, but I just buy from threadless at £9...
They do the job for me.

Just ordered 6 yesterday. 1 is illustrated by Si Scott, nice.

*Edit* I was wrong, you were right.

Where's the slideshow? And you've got an equals symbol in the bottom left. T-shirt is not bad but the weather is fairly crap at the moment for t-shirts

Yeah, Threadless are cheaper but I think I offer a superior quality product.

Here are some examples of what you receive when you order a Phi tee:

Custom gift box, badge, print card, swing tag individually numbered limited edition Phi tee. Plastisol inks with a white base charge on American Apparel. Quality is fantastic.

Yeah that's cool. You need Javascript for the slideshow. Thanks for the feedback, I'll get a JPG only version working too.

I'll delete that = symbol too. Cheers bro!

Have you got your own screen printing set up then? Or you sourcing that out for someone else to do

I have some awesome guys that do them cheap in Bath, but great quality. I also have some connections in American Apparel to source the shirts cheaper.

The stock indicators are a bit meaningless, looks alright - if people are buying then it's working

Stock indicators are usually 3 bars. Right now I'm close to running low so 1 bar.

I think the site's design serves its purpose.

maybe show the bars grayed out instead of removing them so there are always three bars to give it a bit more context, as a buyer I really only need to know if you're in stock or out of stock though

Shouldn't that name be "We are approximately Phi"? After all Phi is irrational at (sqrt(5) + 1) / 2...

Anyway, the site is quite good, except that on a screen 768px in height all I see at first is the slideshow, and had to scroll down for everything else.
Also, maybe some more decription about your company?
