What do u think of this design???

Hey again...

Well, since nobody liked my old design, I started a new one, but this time I only have the design in a jpg file. The file is at soldela.com/design.jpg can u check it and tell me what u think of it before I start coding it?

TIA

Antonio R.

Theres no content.
The...transition(?)...at the bottom of the white part is horrible.
The grid seems pretty off.
some of the colours seem out of place

To add to Kemp's post

Loose the shadows-glows-etc
The type needs freshening up
The "erased?" section at the bottom does not match the square style of the rest of the page

The text is too large
Canales fights with the name of the page
You need to create text size hierarchies according to their importance. At a glance I just don't know what to look first.

your vertical orange divisor appears to have stitched outer seems, but then no texture work to support them.

the orange and black bars that sit atop your content areas are quite blurred.

what is the black furry-looking stuff at the bottom of your content area supposed to be?

1) Get out sketchpad.
2) Sketch some ideas.
3) Figure out a good concept and an idea behind the website.
4) Job done.

You've clearly not thought about this at all. Back to the drawing board lad.
