Blog design (for wordpress)

Hey all! I've created a design for a site I'm thinking about setting up and I've created a nice mock-up.

Edit: Hmmppff. I can't post the link to the image yet?
Edit2: Managed to attach it. Had to lower the quality alot to fit in 200kb.. Will post a link when I'm at 15 posts though.

Any feedback is encouraged, since I want to become a better designer. Also from a wordpress-coding side of view.. Do I have all the wordpress elements that are going to come back?

Thanks in advance

Hi, it's quite nice...
Can you please try to put more space at the content section (more padding). I think it maybe help, look clean and easy to read...
Ummm and the sidebar Links, Categories& Archieve, maybe you can make heading a little bit difference from the menu... and also chane "-" to use image eg. bullet image or arrow...

Cheers ^ ___ ^

PS. maybe you can findout some examples that similar to yours then try to borrow some idea, for the beginning.

I imagine that green background might look painful when spread the full width of a screen? Body copy needs more line spacing.

Thanks for the feedback, I decided to start all over again and I worked it from the ground up using grids.

I still think the main content part is a little plain and the metadata part definately still needs some kind of overhaul I guess..

Looks much better. The two side columns could do with some work, however.

i would change the gradient for the background. Should be lighter drop shadows, and add more transparency. Also the border color could be black instead.
