My turn....
Hey guys, I'm just starting to build my own site, any advice/critique/thrashing is appreciated. It's valid xhtml 1.0 strict. I've gone for a vibrant look, being a portfolio, it's emphasising the artwork we do. I'm working on the menu, but feeling an inclination to lean towards flash maybe? They seem more effective, but I may be wrong. The larger black block is for that. Anyhow, here's the link. mudsplat studios // welcome [edit] I'm still trying to find a decent CMS system that's not cluttered, so I'll be using my own basic one until then, archiving work into week and month brackets (we get through a lot) so for now the links are dead. As far as I am aware, it looks identical in IE, Opera, Firefox and Safari. [edit in edit] That url is being constantly updated, so if it seems broken, just ignore that part.[/edit in edit] [/edit] Last edited by Spearbox : 30-06-2008 at 15:36. |

I'd be introducing a menu, which'll list the contact info/services/forum etc. That's aimed for the larger black box, just below the main image. Each page will have a different image representing a different motiff. |

Those fish are familiar... I'm not sure you need that header part, it doesn't really say much. You'd be better of doing a short blurb about who you are and where you're based, before getting straight to your work, I think. |
