You could have some lovely swirling shapes with 38

all the shapes look like lazy default stuff - the number needs kerning in.

why are the words thirty eight ran together?

the text at the bottom will be illegible at smaller sizes.

generally needs tightening up and a bit of craft. you are letting the computer lead the design process... bad thing to do.

it's worth spending time at the initial concept stage away from the computer.

the old pencil and paper! if you ain't no good at drawing... what you draw doesn't need to look 'good'. concentrate on the concept, layout and shapes

examples pulled off google:

do that then scan into illustrator and use as a template. cleaning up and polishing as you go.

the concept, while not very new, isn't at all bad on the first fella. it is the execution that smells a bit.

again. draw the tv set a few times with a real pencil on a bit of paper on your desk. make the logo work on paper. only then, scan it in and work with it.

it will help. And the process will turn up other options that wont have come to you sat playing with fonts and shapes at the computer.

You could just go with something simple, and hopefully relevant.

logo-concept-screen38-s38.png

Not like this, but the name is quite useless without the screen part somewhere in there.
