Numba Two is best, the contrast between neg and pos type (now you see it, now you don't - demolished!) Emil's idea is good but is more suited to a windy day than the wrecker's ball treatment. My free fonts www.utfi.net

I prefer the second one, as i think that the image above the name sells the logo. however i do think that, even though it looks slighlty like a spanner head, the image needs to proclaim some sort of demolition connection. possible a shattered logo or a crumbling block frame.. Two minute tweak? ![]() I quite liked this cleaner less robust route, as I felt it gave it more of a technical feel while suggesting the dismantling of buildings, which is the real essence of what they do, not smashing them down or blowing up council tower blocks into smoke... ![]() Obviously colour will be intergrated, they are just mono to keep it simple at this stage. Also as mentioned the face might change too. |

mich I think you have gotten stuck in one line of reasoning. if your adament that you have solved it, just stop and submit the design. The incremental changes you have made havent really moved the logos on from the initial iterations. If your not satsified that you have found the right solution I think you ought to try some completely new directions. Not saying that it has to be gimicky but you could be missing something by not exploring other avenues Big Mouth Strikes Again

I wonder, would it be possible to really loosen up the kerning on the type, in order to create a more elegant, more luxurious feel? At present it seems as though the letters have been literally smashed together, and with that the design feels very tight and slightly claustrophobic. I like the negative spaced 'E' idea, but don't think it's quite there yet. At present it is still far to easy to ready it as 'C Saints'. Perhaps the 'EC' could be rotated slightly in order to make it more symbolic and less like a part of the wording. You could even add EC to Saints and place that together below the symbol, which may give you more room to maneuver. Jam |
