Its there beacause I wanted to reserve that space on my design for sponsors or affiliates. Its just a mockup so I just dropped that in because I like their logo not because Im alluding my design to their success. I will probably replace it with a made-up one when Im done. You hang about on subtraction and aisle one don't you, think Ive seen ur comments a few times? Big Mouth Strikes Again

Yeah I too frequent those blogs as often as I can, aisle one is great for inspiration and I love khoi's writing on design and his passion for the subject. And no worries, its just that I would have liked to have known your comments on the design itself rather than the intentions behind it Big Mouth Strikes Again

Here are my thoughts on the design: I think there needs to be some typographic diversity. Courier can be a strain on the eyes, especially when the text runs long (like on a blog). One major thing I notice is a problem with spacing (margins and padding, in particular). Notice up top, where it says "Drop us a line" right next to the description of the blog, they don't vertically align. Neither does the blog post data with the actual content of the post. Also, I think you could work on the underlying grid, because as it is now, it doesn't look completely thought out. As for general issues, I think you should work on the kerning for the logo and also work out any leading issues throughout the design. Something here very soon.

It looks like a tweaked version of a CV we done a while ago, http://www.spearbox.com/support_file..._1_of_2_cv.png |
