Need advice

Hello,

I'm working for school on a website.

( I can't post links because this is my first post)

This is how far i got. We have to use these colors which you can see on the printscreen. Does have anyone some good advice to make the website better looking.

hy there. I really like the design but i must point out that in the navigation bar only the first button has white text and the others are black. try mix some colors for some good background-typography contrast. for example; if the first button is blue and the text is white for the green one you can make a blue text or something like that

nice design
maybe add gradient black and white on overlay on top of the colourful big heading, it would add more appeal/ eyecatching

I think you can do something with the typography on the buttons. It looks a bit default.

I'm dutch too so I can read it and the "Opties" (options) are a bit weirdly. The sentences are cut off suddenly. Maybe you can use some other text or make it a little bit smaller .

I would definitely recommend beginning with the typography and getting the page elements to be more grid like and have them line up better.

Does anyone have an good idea which fonts will look good on this kinda style?

ps. The style of the site needs to be in the same style of an newspaper. Which doen't have any gradients or water look effects ect... .It has to be an bit minimalistic
