Blog Fiction

Good day all

I run a blog fiction site spacehaggis dot com (you can get to it if you click on my name to the left then select "homapage")

I was wondering what your collective opinions were of the little internet phenominon that is "Blog Fiction"?

An excerpt from wikipedia on the subject ...

"Blog fiction is a form of fiction writing that uses weblogs to reach its readership. It is a small-scale fringe activity in the world of blogging, and although it has generated some literary critical interest, it remains isolated. It is presented in many forms, from a pretend diary or posted novel to a serialblog."

Please feel free to check out the site (you can get to it by my homepage here on DT)

Do you think there is a place on the net for it? Is it something you would be interested in reading on a regular basis? What would you like to see from the medium?

Thanks for your input

Alfie

PS forgot to say, its probably a good idea to check the "about" page on my site, just to give you an idea what is all ... erm ... about.

It depends on the quality of the read.
I'm a sci-fi consumer myself, but what I could read on your site did not entice me into reading more.

Well, It feels a bit forced to me, not cursive or polished enough. I mean I am a classic sci-fi fan. Asimov, K. Dick, Franke and the like. It just doesn't sound like something I'd feel like reading on. It is a bit star trek with a Saturday morning children show for me. But I think it's just a matter of taste, I'm sure there's an audience for that kind of writing.

I'm not sure he was published here, or at least I didn't read any of his books. My father has a pretty impressive sci-fi collection, which I read when I was younger, I'm just trying to gather a decent library at the moment, but books (and reading time) prove to be a luxury here nowadays.

The first picture of the dragon thing looks like Boris Johnson after a curry, but apart from that I wasn't interested enough to actually read the messages. It's an interesting enough idea though
