Now it is in context it makes a lot more sense. Are you allowed to integrate the logo more, make it look like it was dropped in with the rest of the confetti?

Love the poster/flyer - looks top notch.

One thing I'm not a fan of is the circle below the Q of Queen though.

Nice one pat. Is the pyjamas cut from some old 60's-70's ad? or is it just the "dirty" scanner which gives the photo a sort of vintage look? Works really well in context with the previous one you have done for them...

Second that benjamin, looks straight out of a vintage pyjama catalogue, handling marks 'n all, the 'off colour' black looks like some sort of aged ink aswell. Very tasty indeed. Did you do the photography aswell?

Photography? It's all scanned in! Have to admit i stole the pyjamas off google images. Printed it off, cut it out, scanned it. Tom, i agree on the circle, they were left on the scanner after i did some stuff with the contents of a hole puncher.

Thanks for the comments all. Hopefully next week I'm starting the next batch of artwork for them, gunna do a big photography shoot on some wasteland with big flags and tibetan-style prayer flags dotted around.

I had some bad feedback from my tutor at uni about the typography on the first flyer but she didn't explain really, can anyone see anything glaring so I know for the future?

Didn't spot anything when you first showed it and nothing really jumps out at me now.

Maybe she just doesn't like that style?

One of our tutors at Uni seemed to hate any experiments with type, if you were messing with the type she wasn't a fan and never really explained why she didn't like it, she was always just "I don't like that typography" and would leave it at that, and when asked why she'd shrug you off with something like "it's just not correct", piss-poor tutor by all accounts.

Yeah it's probably something similar. I mean, there are def. a few things with line height etc. that i haven't been careful enough with. Also, the type's quite a big departure from the other projects I'd done, less organic, she was worried I'm being 'moulded' by my client.

Cheers again all.

Nice, but I do agree about the Indian woman's head in the first one. That scrap of paper should be the same size as the others, or something.
