Much much better, but lose the footer copyright text. Pointless ruining the background with the blue text that just says you designed your own website

Also remember to give all your images a width and a height, stops the buggers jumping about when they are downloading.

The code is so close to being valid, do yourself a favor and fix the minor errors.

On your portfolio page follow this example for your images. They move around when the page loads.

Code:
<img src="http://www.ivancash.com/images/commercial_art/thumbs/ad1_steps.jpg" alt="Remember To Use Me" width="60" height="60" />

Hey, I spent a lot of work designing this site, and i don't appreciate negative feedback without any constructive criticism. It doesn't help me at all. I respect the fact that you don't agree with the site's aesthetic, but your comment is useless unless you are specific in what you don't like, or give some advice so that I can improve it.

i dont believe that you spent a lot of time doing this.

background of site is heavy.
your logo is good, the type. frame of logo is bad.
i dont understand your picture. what it mean? that you are alone? or?
and type in the bottom of your site that it is your design, is stupid. i think that everybody understand and know who did it.

ps. sorry for my english.

I think it's less the images and more the JavaScript.

Your page load is almost 300KB, so it'll be slow. It is abnormally slow, but that's probably your host.

Im gonna be more constructive this time...

I like the first one because of the type in the header and the fact that its more minimal.

I think portfolio sites of this kind are better when they place more emphasis on the work examples than the site itself.

All that grunge stuff around the page border is superfluous

The front page took FOREVER to load that image... and then I realized. Are you loading some of your images from IMAGESHACK? Big no-no.

Wait, why is that a big no no? I thought that was best because they have a fast server and it puts less strain on my own site......?
