Good start. Visit your library and check out a book on typography and the elements of design. You could always take a night course somewhere too.

I agree with Sampson. Good start, but keep going.

I would lose the blue and adapt a darker color scheme

I don't often use the word hate, because it's such a strong word, but I hate the centered text on the content pages. Left align those bad boys.

I agree with soup of the day as far as centering, and your links at the bottom of the page take away the line in front of the Home link.

I don't think your headings are big enough. You should use h1's instead of h2's.

Ignore him. You've already got one <H1> and that's fine.
  • You haven't got any <h2>'s though, jumping straight to h3's, which is un-semantic.
  • You've also using <br/>'s outside of <p>'s as spacing. Get rid of them and margin the paragraphs instead.
  • Again you don't need <center> tags. Style the surrounding div instead.

Code-wise it's not a bad start at all.
