New Design
I just put up this design yesterday, the entire site isnt finished. I upped it just to get a look at how the text and design looks inside a browser. Also, can anyone offer any tips when slicing/applying a layout? I dont like how wheni slice up the links it divides everything into small images. And if i just do it as regular text in DW i never get the desired effect with the Link spacers (tiny squares) between each link. lasglade.com/GFXv2/index.html |

Do you know where a good place to start learning XHTML? I've looked into it, but never really found a site that offered good concepts for what it was teaching. |

It looks nice but there's nothing there that really grabs me. The right-aligned Index heading doesn't feel right to me against the left-aligned text. (Though I don't think that the uneven underline is helping that.) I think that the copy needs some work. I'm no expert on this sort of stuff (or anything really), but in "Graphic Design is an integral part of any businesses growth." you probably want business' rather than businesses. (Possessive rather than plural). Another example, "We find the most effective way to get messages across in Web Design, using a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques." Here, I'm expecting an "is to ..." somewhere after "We find the most effective way to get messages across in Web Design," This might be fixed just by replacing "find" with "explore". |

Regardless of the site's coding - I think the site's a little bland if you're offering artistic services (although that might be ideal - depends on how loud your content is). Plus the bg images don't line up. Details... |
