that's a very 'nice' forum. no problem with that... other than perhaps the output.

it's like showing a design to my mum... 'that's nice dear'.

I prefer the abuse and honest opinion. When I was in college I had tutors that would tear up my work if it wasn't up to scratch - then tell me to bugger off and do it again. I remember hating them at the time... going into a tutorial clutching the last 5 hours work like it was a new born baby... but it pushed me on and I learned rather a lot.

Infact, I think I only had about 5 analytical drawings to show after two years studying.. bloody good ones though!

That said.. i'll be far too soft to tear up work when we start the academy...

Sadly the best advice you got on that forum was from a Graphic Designer who uses frames for his own website. Enough said really.
