Vitamin Features » Awesome up your design with A.B.

Looks like someone else reads Vitamin.

Anyway, I think it looks nice. The Windows Vista style glowy thing looks nice enough.

Vice nice, nudoo. I'd probably replace the Apple icon in the footer with something more relevant. Something like the MediaTemple (MT) mark which seems to be the going trend if you're hosting with them.

Also, I like the style of the imode(?) mark top right but it took me a while to work out what it said. Maybe make this a little clearer?

Other than that it's a very nice looking site.

Whoa there sunshine - have you actually read your opening paragraph? Shocking.

EDIT: In fact, all the copy is peppered with mistakes.

Also, being based in the UK I'd probably opt for 'Curriculum Vitae' instead of 'resume'.

Hello thanks sub, I've put that apple icon there cause i saw it on another site and fort it looks cool, and the footer was a bit plan.

Regarding the logo..

You took the time to work the name out, longer one spends on your site the better, could be a bit of a blessing

Thanks

Thanks alot.

This was my worry, i didn't want to do a CV since i was kicked out of school and 15, didn't go college and taught myself via internet and books.

I was reading about it and a resume is more focused on experience and aims, not just education, i figure for my situation this would be the best route

Ahem. Seriously man, no matter how good it looks it will be rendered useless if the copy reads like that.

Sorry about that. *Sarcasm

the logo on the right seems to be a bit odd. why on the right, with the Ricky/ on the left? why not just have the Ricky/ ?
I don't think talking about the fact that you are talking in first person is very good.
the color near the bottom right doesn't look near as good as the header glow. It's because of the way the left side doesn't meet the bottom.

Also, how will you have the bottom part work on big screen monitors? If it was cut off and had just black underneath it, it wouldn't look good.

your spelling is ridiculous. On a forum I can understand, but on a homepage it just makes me want to hulk smash my monitor.

apple fan boy I am, so I don't mind the apple, but it looks stupid by it's self

I agree... don't put the apple logo in the corner - reminds me of a iWeb template with it there. Get an affiliate account with your hosting company and stick their logo down there. Doubtful anyone will click on it, but if you want a logo down there to balance out the design, do something that will benefit you.
Also, the color's in the background are nice, but I always opt for a white background or one that will otherwise not take the user's eye off the content.
I love the layout.

Surely there are copyright issues with using apple's logo?
