Hmm, I'm not sure this really gets the job done. I tend to agree with iblastoff that this would appear to entice prostitution more. In my opinion, you might want to make the message more clear that it is illegal. Maybe have some jail bars with big big text (opposed to the very small and obscure text here) saying that it is illegal. |

Just to go against the grain for the fun of it, but I don't really like anything that's been suggested to fix his concept. The idea of adding bars or beaten up women to ads is, as appalling as this sounds, a visual turn off, we're tired of being shown stuff that tugs our heart strings, people looking miserable, threats of imprisonment. Hammering home the illegality of it. While I don't necessarily agree with the school girl approach, the idea of making you look either out of curiosity or shock and then slapping you with the simple statement works better for me, than a poster with bars, or a woman who's been beaten on it. A poster with a woman who's been beaten up would make me look AWAY, maybe I'm a horrible person, but I'm a bit sick of advertising preaching at me. So yeah, I don't dislike the idea, the execution needs some work. |
