New Logo
After considering what the name of my company really stood for, and what I intend it to stand for, I went ahead a re-designed the logo. It's very basic, text based design, though, I think it gives a much better image to the company. ![]() twitter.com/rglover

That you've just used a stock font without any modification shows with the two 'e's The grunge look only really works if the decay is random and without any order or duplication to it (that's the point - it's the lack of uniformity that makes it grunge). The fact that the distress on the two e's is identical detracts strongly from the image and makes it look less like a carefully crafted logo, and more like you just typed six letters into whatever software you used. |

Wow, Hunch. You have a great a eye. I would take the logo into illustrator and separate the letters and then position them by hand (take care of your kerning issues and maybe set one of those e's slightly off kilter or flip it horizontally?). Maybe try a variation without the grunge? Does the connotation of "decay" really suit your brand? I'm not sure what you do so I can't say. Maybe have an alternate version with a block background and grunge that up a bit. Hey Hunch, you're tough. Why don't you go take a look at my thread below this one (colorspretty) and give me some of that skilled feedback. I need to get my design in gear. Great eyes, bro. |

Fuck me. Why didn't I read this yesterday when I still had a chance to score? Errr... thanks kbarrett. Personally if you want to stick with it, I'd take it into Illy, convert to outlines and then start tweaking it by hand. |
