I should be asleep right now, but I had the idea to start re-designing the site for my business. The original can be found at: Xepher Media // web & graphic desgin

Here is a rough sketch I through together in PS:



A lot is missing, though, you get a basic feel for the interface and what not. I'm debating it, but I think in the bar at the top (in between the logo and menu) I may have a scrollable view (like apple's coverflow) that let's you see our latest work. It would be a lot of work to put together, so we'll see.

Any thoughts/pointers/misc. jazz would be very appreciated.

the old one is much better in my opinion. like what brooks said, its really hard to see there is little to no contrast.

It's not that I disapprove of contrast, but for the most part the contrast of the site will be the content that I add. However, if you were too "add contrast," what would you recommend?

some hints of white would be good but i prefer your old one
