Have at it - new design for furniture site

Here's the latest version of the site that I've been working on for a little over 6 months now.

New Design - Template - new version
Roomful Express Furniture - Best Pittsburgh Furniture Store - how it exists right now

Any and all comments are appreciated.

i like it, however for the main navigation eg "furniture" near the header image could you perhaps make that whole block a link so the user doesnt have to go and mouse on the actual line.

I agree about the block linking. I think there is too much brown going on. I like brown, but there just isn't anything else, and it clashes with the logo.

i didnt want to comment on the brown because i had only the phrase "can i eat it?" which doesnt help. but thankyou spaced for voicing that more coherently

Thanks for the ideas! I've been struggling with the colors for 6 months. I used a color scheme generator to get what you see, it's something like tertiarty complementary or one of the less common ones.

Any other color ideas? I'm trying to get a feeling of comfort and warmth from it, so the 'Can I eat it?' isn't too far off

I think it loses the coherence of the design below the white block where it has the hours, articles and current ad.

Any more suggestions?
