on the menu I'd stick in a bit of style sheet code that does a cursor:hand and make the whole area a link

Fine in firefox. I'd change the link colour on rollover though.

White would do nicely:
#navlist a:hover { color: #fff; background-color: #FCD305; }

And then work on getting rid of the frames.

Well, I like when it all fits on the screen without scrollbar on the side...

I think the Stick was referring to getting your site out of that freedomain frameset and into your own, 'proper' hosting space.

On the other hand, you could be right and he could be referring to removing the iframe - only he no doubt would suggest that you replace it with a scrolling div.
A scrolling div would appear identical to the iframe on the page.

Maybe worth considering

-

Not much to see really, but promising.
I'd recommend giving unvisited links a hover colour that contrasts with the yellow in their background.
Even as someone who's been playing with t'internet for a number of years, I still get a little thrown when menu items become nondescript and uninformative when I roll over them.
It might be intentional, but as far as this user is concerned, the effect doesn't outweigh the (slight) aggravation.

I'd also consider putting some kind of sign on the menu options that trigger a popup.

Would be nice to see a little more 'visuality' to it.
I know it's a blog, but it still feels empty.
Perhaps some graphic dividers between the blog entries or something.
I think it would add some more character and flair to it.

I meant all frames - just as a little thing to complain about.

Also, I did mention changing the link colour too.
