Drinkme new site
Hi guys I was wondering if I can get a bit of feedback on the new front page for the drinkmeonline website http://www.drinkmeonline.co.uk/testsite/ I will be coding the rest of the site this weekend I hope if I get time. But I was wondering what your thoughts were so far. Best as always peace |

Like someone else said, it's hard because the rest of the site will look nothing like this. This is just a splash page so in effect, a waste of time. As far as it goes, I do think it's a bit of graphical over kill. Bigging yourself up rather than thinking about what the client or user might actually want/need. If you go with the splash page, at least make sure the image doesn't get cut off on the left, right and bottom. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch.

Thanks for all the comments guys. The site will have the same look all the way through. I hate sites that look amazing on intro and then just lose the look all the way through the site. I am a BIG believer in continuity. The site was designed with the client so I know that this is the look they are after. thanks again though guys. peace |

hmmm I like it... the film-negative look, high contrast... very nice. But this is just the spash screen (aka the "frontpage") I wonder how the final site will look like? I know you've said you'll go for continuity but how can you fit a nav & content etc into this style? I can't wait to see the results. - emk |
