TriPixel Studios - I think I've gotten better :)

Well, if any of you remember me, I was the half-assed excuse for a designer that use to post on this forum quite a bit back during the summer. Well, I'm back, but this time, I do have skill! (I'm serious, this isn't just being made up as I go along!! :P)

www.tripixels.com

What do you guys think? I have had nothing but good reviews on this design, so I wanted to see what you all had to say about it!

BTW, I'm probably going to start posting quite often again!

Hey, I like it for it's simplicity - it feels "clean".

Only things i'd suggest are some padding, particularly left/right of your content text, just to keep it from being so close to the borders, and to change the formatting of your portfolio images - left-justified isn't doing them justice.

Oh, and i'm viewing on 1280x1024 and it only fills like a quarter of my screen .. looks kinda weird but i'm guessing that's intentional.

Okay Thanks man! Well, they did have some padding, but it was only like 3px :P lol... I was designing more for the 800x600 to 1024x768 monitors, since that is what the majority of people have

This is how it looks in my browser ... I've got 1024x768.
But I generally like it.

WTF?! Uh oh :P I better fix that then! I'm trying to get it to look okay in FireFox (standards and all), and that must've screwed up the look in IE! Well, I'm fixing it! Thanks guys!

personal preference but i think the navigation would be better off without the dashed lines for its border.
it just, doesnt sit right with me looking at it, i breaks the design up

1 thing that discourages me from giving you a ring and asking for a website would have to be the fact that ive seen 7 versions of the same site, just by looking at your site. all the sites in your portfolio, although are done great, lack originality vs the next site. other then that, gj on your new version.

and your contact site should at least work even if it contains a page with 1 line saying

this_is_my_email@_thisplace.com

Okay Thanks for the input man. But, could you please give me an example of one of the other sites like mine? (I'm just curious. I know that my site is somewhat similar to the Unleashed Media site, a friend showed that to me. But other than that, I haven't seen any).

sorry. i must have been too vague in my description ;/.
Every site in your portfolio shows a site with:
A) a large header @ the top
B) nav situated around the header, typically horizontal. the only site with vertical nav was the devine records, and that doesnt change from anything else i list(ed)
c) the content on every site in your portfolio is not really organized in any divs, its just under the header img and within the constraints of w/e you built the site on (xhtml/css ect).

ive done a small put to gether of how every site is to me.

HTH

find that height of the entire div box, and spread that same hieght out across all pages, it'll be easier on the eyes for transition into the next page. hth too ;-)
