Alright, I have 2 different versions now. I created this pretty quick, but I still have to add more if he likes the concept.

Comments are greatly appreciated,

If he's a model and football player, a bit of swanky flash top left would be quite nice with a 3 or 4 different poses. I liked the original better, but oh well...I know it's scrapped.

Yep, I definitely without a doubt like the original better. But I just ran these by him and he really liked the black/white one (with a few minor alterations). Basically, he doesn't want to emphasize the modeling profession (since he's an aspiring model, not signed or anything), so he's trying to pay more attention to the soccer lifestyle. But I'll see what I can do tomorrow and into the weekend on this.

Wish me luck!

Is he actually famous in some country somewhere? Or is he just some bloke who fancies himself a bit?

looks good, just that everything is very high saturation that it stands out predominantly . well maybe with a blue background or something it would look more uniform instead of stand out so much.

I like the black/white one even more than the original, it's a bit more serious, the original is good but he could be a footballer/children's TV presenter?

I also like your portfolio Rick. Very impressive.

Hunch - Yes and no. He's a semi-professional football (soccer) player. He's played since he was a little kid and he's one of the best in his division right now and hopes to be recruited by a professional team soon.

digipaint - Thank you! Personally, I liked the black/white better than the sepia/orange tinted one. I thought about the first one and then modified it to make everything black/white to experiment a little. Also, to be honest, my only recent work has been this project and the "ConceptualTheory" design. All the rest are actually very old (some date back a couple years). I took a break for a while to develop a better understanding and be in a solid learning process. But I think it turned out just fine. You'll see a lot more soon from me that's actually worth posting.

I have to head off to school. Talk to you guys later.
