New layout, do you like it?

Do you like my new layout and if not what can be done to make it better?

Here is the link; Codename 16

The only thing with is not finished is the right menu content (the links ect).

It's bland apart from the banner, which looks almost threatening, like a thundercloud. What's the site going to be about, apart from Star Trek?
Needs to have a "hook" right up front - something inviting, interesting. Maybe when you have a little genuine content, it'll be easier to give suggestions.

The site will no be about Star Trek (but I must admit that I'm a Star Trek fan). I will be about: web development, my softwares and photos I have taken. I just needed something to fill the comment boxes with.

Maybe you could put the three items from the right column menu up the top too. There's plenty of room. Do you really need two menus? Then you'd have space to show us 3 or 4 of your very best photos and something to tell about and explain in the first text paragraph to get visitors involved.

I like it, especially the navigation and your sidebar.

I need the right menu for the blog and there is no room for more menu items in the top if you use 1024 x 768. Anyway the page is the blog page.

I kinda wish the logo/name of your site was a little more prominent. It seems to lose focus compared to everything else.

I like it, one thing... I felt there was no need for character spacing on the banner txt at top, it dosent really fit with same font in box below
