It's ok. It's not going to set the design world alight but it's clean enough. I think the body text is too small though. And it's "too many things" not "to many things".

Looks good...i'd suggest a lighter font for the menu and space out the elements a bit more. Also increase the line spacing and the margins to better deliniate sections and reduce the intensity of that big block of text.

Maybe its a punctuation challenge not spelling.

The tag line isn't supposed to have a meaning, I just think it's a fun tag line

A lighter font for the menu? What do you mean with lighter font?

I will try to increase the line spacing in the Lorem ipsum block. (FIXED)
I will try to add more space between the menu items. (FIXED)

The font size is far too small, I honestly think "Fuck reading that", and not because it is gibberish, but it is too much effort to screw up my eyes to even make it out. Why the massive area of white space in the right column, does the quote box really need to be that wide?

Font size changed. Tag line deleted.

I will make the quotes box less wide. About that white space in the right column ; I was thinking of having the blog menu there. (on the blog pages)

Clean, maybe too clean..just my personal preference though

I'd add maybe a light pattern over the background so it doesn't look so flat, but not bad at all by anymeans

I have added some effect to the background. What do you think, is it better?

It definitely adds a little flavor, but the repetition is rather stacked

Ex: the "p's" have a stacked look, where as the 6's and 9's seem to flow more
PPP 696
PPP 969
PPP 696

What do you mean with "p's"?
The background repetition don't look as good on my 1280x1024 as it did on my laptop screen (1024x768), I will see what I can do about it tomorrow.

I have now changed the background; does it take to much attention from the rest of layout or is it ok?

Background

.....is f**king awful.

Forget assing about with the backgrounds and deal with the fundemental stuff...there have been some good suggestions above.

Increase the font size and reduce the intensity of text with a colour change to #333333, increase the whitespace around elements within your page and justify the text (but thats just me). I'd also increase the line spacing.

I'd also up the size of your menu items and more clearly define the rollover state. It feels like all the elements are shoved into the smallest space possible on the left.

Headings wouldnt go astray either.

More space between elements added; heading added; text color changed; text justified (it looks much better now); font size changed to 10pt and font changed to arial.

I will now experiment with the menu hover.

On the right track....you still need more whitespace around elements....possibly try a shadow effect as well...see quick mockup attached.
