Redisigning site

For some reason I posted this thread early this morning and now it is gone with the wind....

In my quest for simplicity I went a bit overboard and oversimplified my current website. So now I am looking to do something more abstracty/artsy and was looking for some opinions.

Here is what I have so far for a header:

JP, assuming this was created in Adobe Illustrator, probably not. As for spire, I like this header design, but I really enjoy the design of your site as it is currently. I'd say as opposed to spending more time re-designing, just to leave it as is and use the header design for either a future update or another client.

I just see it as too chaotic and complex with all the swirls/strokes. Better to have fewer of them, so theyre more pronounced. Especially when they share the same form as your logo. Idk, that was just my first impression

I am thinking of taking the stroke coming out of the header out just keeping the white.

Although I like the current layout of my page, it has really hurt me with a couple of clients that wanted an artsy feel and I had to do a mock up to convince them.

I am not very convinced on the shade of green yet still working on that.

Also the current logo wasn't really working for me so I am going for another feel.....

Wait, your clients were telling you how they wanted your site to look?
