i hate popup windows. why does it pop? i don't get it.

Some nice work not sure why "Dave Luff" needs to be displayed aftre you click "Enlarge" before you view the enlargement.

the reason that Dave luff is displayed is because this is a preloader. As each preview image is loaded on the fly.

I really like the primary colours theme. I'm undecided on the popup debate...I quite like them sometimes. I think it works here.
there is one thing I really don't like about this site....it's the font when you rollover the menu - ("me", "work" "contact") I think this chunky text really spoils the simple stylish menu.

the transitions/tweens are quite slow...have you experimented with diff frame rates? I think it might look a bit sharper if you speeded things up a bit.

I think the strong colours and theme makes this site stand out, without being too gimmicky.

Thanks again for eveyones input,
I'll give it a go speeding up my transitions, I am running at 25fps and could easily speed them up. I'll give it a go.
In regards to the menu font I think you may be right, I am using a heavy weight of helvetica I'll try and use somehting lighter, and see how I get on.

It's not a major issue, but why not change it to "image loading", "preloading" or something else, it just seems unnecessary displaying your name again on a site that is clearly about Dave Luff.

indeed your right, I just stuck it in there as dave luff. I'll create a image loading or something like that.

I agree completely with that - crap font.

Nice site though, shame it's in a popup.

well after trying out different methods I felt that a pop up worked best for my site. At least it isn't full screen, I don't think its to intrusive.

It's not intrusive, it's just annoying.
