Critque on a site for 3D Music Magazine

Hey guys, Can you give me suggestions for my site. It's for a virtual 3d Music magazine (kinda hard to explain, check out the read section to see what I'm talking about). Anyways, any opinions would be sweet. Thanks 123 Magazine-Virtual 3D Music Magazine

The top banner perhaps runs a little deep, but I like the circles. My eyes are slightly confused by the visual cues though. I can see a drop shadow to give a visual reference for the relationship between the page and the wood, but it's no so clear where in space, the circles sit. They cast no shadow on the wood, which would suggest they sit somewhat above the page but the relationship between the circles and the rest of the banner suggests this may not be the case. That said, design doesn't always have to follow real world physical rules. If it looks good, you can stick with it.

I think you need something more inventive for new Band of the Week.

On a 1024x768 display, the initial view is a little graphic heavy and very low on content. I get the top banner, main menu and the headline of the first article (BotW), and that's pretty much it. Perhaps some kind of summary of the featured articles, sitting at the top would help?

Something about the wood effect background doesn't quite pull it off for me, but I'm struggling over why.

Overall though, it's nice. I still don't know why it's called a 3d magazine, but maybe I'm just out of touch with what the kids are up to these days

I like it. Bright. Colorful.

Maybe you should make the header a little less big, and the shadow down the menu needs some more transparency imo. Content could use some more padding.

I like it, I think the color combination is very refreshing. The header is somewhat bigger than it needs to be and the empty circle on the left seems like it should be either smaller or moved up behind the search circle. But overall, It's a nice design.

I think you should add some graphic to unify all site and make a feeling of a one thing. not a set of different graphics
