This really is so cool!

Mind you, I'm having a few problems adding pages; I've dropped in two extra keframes on the 'print' layer, named the instances 'print9' and 'print10', and I've set the maxPages variable to 10, but when I go to publish the swf, it comes up with this message:

Error: A 'with' action failed because the specified object did not exist.

Am I doing something stupid?

How dated? I first saw this on a volvo site about 3-4 months ago. Agree that it's a bit overused but my client has got wood for it and I wouldn't mind learning the technique either.

Powerpoint does rule though

I think for clients it has its usefulness - as they think "wow thats great" and they give you bundles of cash.

I meant for personal portfolios but then i have a problem with them anyway

again powerpoint wil rule.
