WIP. Boozy Bum

Hi guys, I'm pretty much finished this wee project, started last week as a mess about.

Boozy Bum - Drunken Stories

edit for Google purposes.

Still waiting for the DNS settings to propagate on the domain. Feel free to add any stories you want, im gonna need some content to get it off the ground.

I think you could do with sharpening up the stars on the ratings of the stories and also introduce a bit more of a left margin to the stories list as its a bit too left right now and needs more spacing from the left even if you squash it more to fit within the width of the picture while increasing the margin.

Overall nice and simple and the top photo etc and colouring works.

I'm shit with Photoshop, but I have the stars with a white background..as in the attachment, how do I go about getting a black background - select colour range is rubbish...and the magic wand tool gets it a bit wrong..

I usually use the pen tool with the workpath choice selected (i work in fireworks when not photo manipulating because its easier for me to create web layouts with). I am sure some Photoshop guru can tell you better but for me I create the outline choose make selection then cut it out. I usually am working really zoomed in like 400-800% but it works wonders for me in getting a bang on outline and cut.
