I here what you're saying but I'm not convinced.

If you're determined to keep it then I'd say the 'Sun' is too yellow and will be lost out of white and the 'Azure' is not very azure - very pale and washed out.

The circles feel too distant from the type.

I don't undertand the need for a grey background - the only reason I can see is to show up the yellow better but the need for a grey background will cause no end of problems when it comes to practical usage of the mark.

The type is neat but overall its slightly unbalaced with the graphics, take a look at aligning them differently.

one little thought. if you wanna shake off the master card similarity a bit you could rotate the graphic 90 degrees then look at placing it with the text nicely?

Too simple, too general, too unrecognizable, too Mastercard-like, needs improvement.

Nonsense. A logo needs to be simple to be instantly recognisable.
I'm not a massive fan of the logo. Also, reminds me a lot of the Sequence brand ident...

The type on the sequence logo reflects the graphics much better though. Ties it together very well.

logo started with horatio light, letters fitted well the shapes.
but we had to change for something more condensed...

may be it's better that way ?

Whats the difference between the before and after, other than a slight resize of the symbol?

To be honest, I'm not particularly offended by the fact characters don't reflect the symbol more.

Might be nice to see both weights used (the light from your first post & the heavier weight from the last two)

azur: Light
energie: Heavier

Subtley reflecting calm + strength, also might balance the logo a little given the symbol in left aligned.

Or that might be a shite idea!?

Herr Kurm, are you blind?

On the 'Before & After' thread I was responding to, the weights were EXACTLY the same.

I've asked three of our designers what difference they could see and none noticed weight, all noticed the symbol size increase.

Then, just to confirm I wasn't blind I overlayed them:

Exactly the same.

first post was thinner
now the deal is in the shapes sizes and position.

I do like it when it's too high, it can seem unbalanced but I can see a kind of butterfly, set free by this new green energy.
