need your critique, please

We developed a www.topdepo.com ranklist of the best websites and as we expect participation in this ranklist would increase traffic and link popularity.
We will greatly appreciate any your comments about this ranklist, its good and bad points and if this project will work well.

cant see it working, sorry. You're up against yahoo and dmoz. A niche directory might work for a specific interest ( eg cookery websites, car websites etc )

Yeah, if I landed on this page, I would just click back. Looks way too much like the sites you get when domains have been bought but not sold.

The look isn't catchy enough, and the idea is exTREMEly hackneyed.

Our plans are not so outstanding like Yahoo! or Dmoz have. We are not going to cover 100% of the market.

On the other hand, as our top100 is not so huge, the participants have a good chance to get 5-10 visitors in exchange for each visitor which they give to us.

Yes, the idea is very old indeed, but among the exisiting top100 only 1-2 are really working. This is why we think the market is quite empty for our top100.
